ACJRD is seeking a dynamic Events & Communications Officer to help drive our mission to support collaboration, learning, and evidence-informed policy and practice across the Irish criminal justice system.

🌟 About the Role

The Events & Communications Officer plays a central part in strengthening ACJRD as a national network connecting policymakers, practitioners, academics, researchers, and wider stakeholders. This role blends event management, communications, and member engagement to amplify ACJRD’s impact and support our strategic goals.

🗂️ Key Responsibilities

🎫 Event Management

  • Research, Plan and deliver high-quality ACJRD events, including:
    • 📅 Annual Conferences
    • 🗣️ Seminars
    • 💻 Webinars
    • 🤝 Working Group Meetings
  • Coordinate logistics, schedules, communications, and post-event outputs.

📣 Communications

  • Manage and update ACJRD’s website and digital platforms.
  • Create engaging newsletters, reports, and event summaries.
  • Ensure a clear, consistent organisational voice across all channels.
  • Support communication strategies that highlight ACJRD’s work and outcomes.

🤝 Membership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Support the growth and engagement of ACJRD’s membership community.
  • Act as a key contact for members and external partners.
  • Contribute to partnership development, organisational planning, and day-to-day operations.
