ACJRD is seeking a dynamic Events & Communications Officer to help drive our mission to support collaboration, learning, and evidence-informed policy and practice across the Irish criminal justice system.
🌟 About the Role
The Events & Communications Officer plays a central part in strengthening ACJRD as a national network connecting policymakers, practitioners, academics, researchers, and wider stakeholders. This role blends event management, communications, and member engagement to amplify ACJRD’s impact and support our strategic goals.
🗂️ Key Responsibilities
🎫 Event Management
- Research, Plan and deliver high-quality ACJRD events, including:
- 📅 Annual Conferences
- 🗣️ Seminars
- 💻 Webinars
- 🤝 Working Group Meetings
- Coordinate logistics, schedules, communications, and post-event outputs.
📣 Communications
- Manage and update ACJRD’s website and digital platforms.
- Create engaging newsletters, reports, and event summaries.
- Ensure a clear, consistent organisational voice across all channels.
- Support communication strategies that highlight ACJRD’s work and outcomes.
🤝 Membership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Support the growth and engagement of ACJRD’s membership community.
- Act as a key contact for members and external partners.
- Contribute to partnership development, organisational planning, and day-to-day operations.
