White Collar Crime Seminar - 30 March 2011
The ACJRD in conjunction with the IWLA (Irish Women’s Lawyers Association) held a joint seminar on White Collar Crime at the Green Hall, Law Society of Ireland, Blackhall Place on Wednesday 30th March.

Dave McFadden, Solicitor, Competition Authority speaking on Competition Law and White Collar Crime;
Shelly Horan, Barrister, author of Corporate Crime: A Guide to Irish Law speaking on Key Issues in Investigating, Prosecuting and Sentencing Corporate Crimes; and
Mary Kiely, Solicitor, Revenue Commissioners speaking on Prosecution of Serious Tax Offences.
The event was well attended and provided an extremely interesting overview of various aspects of White Collar Crime.

The launch of the 19th Annual ACJRD Conference Report 'Cybercrime' was followed by a seminar on White Collar Crime with Brian Gageby, BL, who spoke on the new approaches to prosecuting white-collar crime in the US and Britain which are of interest from an Irish perspective.
